Sulla Honey from the Madonie Mountains, handcrafted by Mandralisca in Gangi (Palermo), is a light, elegant honey that captures the aromas of the deep-purple Sulla blossoms, a plant typical of Sicily’s pastures. On the nose, it releases delicate floral notes and hints of freshly cut grass, while on the palate it is mild, well-balanced, and pleasantly herbaceous.
Its colour ranges from pale ivory to creamy tones, and it naturally crystallises into a light amber within a year—an authentic sign of its purity. With its naturally low calorie content, it is perfect as a healthy sweetener for tea, herbal infusions, yoghurt, or warm drinks, and pairs beautifully with biscuits and fresh cheeses.
