Description
PRIMAVERA is an experimental white wine born on the slopes of Etna, specifically in Milo (Contrada Caselle), at an altitude of 770 meters above sea level. In this vineyard, grown as Etna bush vines on volcanic sandy soil, native Sicilian grape varieties coexist with international ones, giving life to a unique and fascinating winemaking project.
The varieties present in the vineyard – Pinot Blanc, Savagnin, Chenin, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Carricante – blend together in a rare balance of freshness, aromatic complexity and minerality, expressing the volcanic character of the territory with finesse and authenticity.
Manual harvesting of the clusters and gentle pressing with a pneumatic press preserve the purity of the fruit. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, without the use of biotechnology, and aging takes place for about 6 months in second-passage French oak tonneaux, before a coarse filtration and bottling.
The result is a wine of striking aromatic elegance, with floral and citrus notes, hints of mountain herbs, flint, and a vibrant, fresh, savory sip. An artisanal, limited production of 1,200 bottles, designed for those who love wines with a strong identity, the fruit of passion and experimentation.
